Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

  • We opened our new facility on 7022 AC Skinner Pkwy here in Jacksonville on August 1, 2021. You can learn more about our facility by clicking HERE.

My daughter is just getting interested in volleyball. Where do I start?!

  • We have programs for all level athletes. Beginners normally start with Club Prep, Fall Mini Club, camps or clinics. Club Prep, camps and clinics essentially run year ’round while Mini Club is a 10-week shortened season where our teams play in 3 competitions and train fundamental skill A TON!

What are your travel team fees?

  • Depends on the team you make. We essentially have two teams at each age level. Depending on if your daughter makes a Royal or a Black team and depending on age level, fees are in the $3,000-$4,500 range. Which leads to the next questions…

Do you offer fundraising opportunities??

  • YES!! We offer a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Each year, our fundraising programs grows more and more. Last year, we had one family raise $3,200 for their daughter! We also work with a 501(c)(3) non-profit out of Lakeland, FL that provides sports scholarships for families in need!

Why haven’t I heard of you before?

  • We are not big self-promoters and prefer that our athletes and families do our “talking”. We are not the club that is out recruiting players from other clubs. Beware of those, as those programs are not able to develop talent on their own. As we have grown and our athletes have gone back to their schools; players, parents and coaches have taken notice. We also run a good number of camps and clinics where athletes that are not on our travel teams can experience a small taste of the training that our athletes receive. In the summer of 2020, we used our college connections to run a College Coaches Camp that included two Top 25 programs- Penn State and Marquette- as well as the well-respected mid-major program Appalachian State. In the summer of 2022, we brought in Texas A&M, Florida State, Wake Forest, Marquette and Tulane. In 2023, our College Coaches Camp brings Kentucky, Purdue, Florida State, Mississippi State and Tulane- along with clinics with Marquette, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.

As our teams and club have grown, we have seen more and more success on a National level. In the 2021 season- we had our first team QUALIFY for the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships. Our 14 Royal team had been competing at the Open level all season until a significant injury, so they entered the Northern Lights National Qualifier in the 2nd level division of USA and won it, securing the club’s first bid! This past season, our 15 Royal once again won the NLQ and ended up taking 2nd at the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships! Additionally, our 11 Royal took 5th at AAU’s and 16 Royal took 26th of 156 teams in Premier. During the 2023 season, we saw THREE teams qualify for the GJNC- 17 Royal, 16 Royal and 14 Royal.

How long has Jacksonville Skyline been around?

  • We started Jacksonville Skyline in August of 2017 after a 20+ year run as college coaches- finishing up at Clemson University. We have grown from 3 teams during the 2018 travel season to 17 teams for this upcoming 2024 travel season- our 7th season.

Are you affiliated with the Skyline clubs out of Texas?

  • We are! Unless you’ve been in the club world, you probably are not aware of what Skyline means at a National level. Dallas Skyline has been around for over 20 years and is one of the top clubs in the nation. They regularly produce Open level championship teams and high-level NCAA DI talent…in addition to talent up and down the college landscape. In addition to Dallas Skyline, there is also a Houston Skyline and Austin Skyline! It’s safe to say that when you mention “SKYLINE” to college coaches and across the country, it is a name brand that is well-respected and immediately recognized.
