We already have a full combined 11’s/12’s team, but would love to form two separate teams at the 11’s and 12’s. With most middle school seasons finished, now is the time to keep growing your game. Our goal of keeping up with the highest level of training brought us to Marquette Volleyball’s preseason practice yesterday. Thankful for all of our college coaching relationships built over the years and Coach Theis is one of our strongest. Great program and culture. This group is very driven and ranked #26 in the pre-season polls and picked to win the Big East Conference. Thanks for having us!
New to Skyline this year is Fall Mini-Club! Mini-Club is designed to give playing opportunities to younger athletes in a relaxed setting where the focus can be on fundamental skill training. This is an excellent introduction for young players interested in volleyball.
Mini-Club also is a great program for athletes that are just starting playing volleyball, haven’t started middle school volleyball yet, don’t make their competitive middle school team, or their middle school seasons don’t start until November.
Placement is for all skill levels and is scheduled for Saturday, August 11th. Ages 12 and Under are from 1-3; and ages 13-15 are from 3-5. Be sure to register HERE!
We are very excited to announce that Florida Gator Associate Head Coach Dave Boos will be a guest instructor at our Pre-Tryout Camp from July 23-26. Jacksonville Skyline Co-Directors Hugh and Steph Hernesman coached with Coach Boos for 3 years prior to his arrival in Gainesville.
The similarities between the Skyline and Florida training styles will be on full display and campers will see how the Hernesman’s were able to have over two decades of success at the collegiate level prior to coming to Jacksonville.

ABOUT COACH BOOS: Dave Boos, a renowned volleyball coach with over 20 years of experience at the highest level, enters his ninth season at Florida in 2018, his eighth as associate head coach for the Gator volleyball program.
Boos, a defensive mastermind who is involved in all aspects of the Florida program, has been instrumental in the Gators’ success since his arrival on campus. This past fall, the Gators advanced to the NCAA Final Four for the first time since 2002, beating Stanford in the National Semifinal before losing to Nebraska in the National Championship match.
Jacksonville Skyline is unlike any club in the Jacksonville area. We offer 20+ years of college coaching experience: from the ACC on down. Those years have allowed us to work with and learn from Top 25 level coaches in the college game in addition to the USA Olympic National Team.
Those relationships give us and our athletes unmatched access which is irreplaceable when it comes to recruiting as well as keeping up with the latest training techniques in the sport.

This past weekend, our 15 Royal team lives up to the potential they have been showing flashes of all spring- by winning their pool and taking 2ND PLACE in the tournament. 12 teams total and a 15’s/16’s tournament!! Congrats!
One of our more popular programs here at Jacksonville Skyline is our Academy. Starting May 6, we will begin another 2-month Academy. The Academy is a developmental program designed to develop fundamental skills for beginning to intermediate level volleyball athletes.
Skyline Academy will introduce the sport of in a positive and encouraging environment. We welcome athletes age 5-15 of all skill levels to come train with our veteran staff!
DATES: May 6 – June 24 (Sunday afternoons)
DURATION: 2 months; Six 1-hr sessions (No sessions on May 27 or June 17)

Jacksonville Skyline Juniors Volleyball Club is very excited to announce TWO separate weeks of camps this summer to cover all ages and skill levels! Join our experienced and professional staff, lead by Hugh and Steph Hernesman, former college coaches for over 20 years. Come train in the same training style many college athletes do!
You may sign up for each camp individually OR you can BUNDLE the All Skills, Position Specialty and Serving camps for the week together for a $25 discount (for those that meet the age requirements).

Serving Clinic for 2/25 is FULL. Interest and demand for our clinics is exploding and we just cannot accommodate more that a certain number of athletes. We always will stay true to our word that our athletes and clinic/camp attendees will never be a number to us and will always get the personal attention they deserve!

11 Royal had a great weekend in Tallahassee! They played up an age division in the 12’s and finished 2nd in their Day 1 pool and then after losing in the semi’s, finished with a strong sweep in their last match of the day. #WeUse3Contacts #WeAllServeOverhand #LearningForTheNextLevel
