2024 COLLEGE COACHES CAMP: The big reveal is here! We’ve got an awesome lineup once again this summer- including three DI schools with Top 75 RPI finishes (two of them Top 50), a perennial DII National Championship contender that was a Final 4 team this past year and won it all in ‘21, and an up-and-coming mid-major DI program and long-time friend of the Skyline Family!

June 3-7 is the date and once again we’ll have a session for middle school ages and high school ages. Be sure to register for the grade you’re going into…and do so quickly, as this camp is extremely popular and fills up fast.

Congratulations to 17 Royal on winning Northern Lights and receiving a USA bid to the Girls Junior National Championship (GJNC) in Las Vegas in July. That is 3 gold balls at NLQ in 4 years and 4 straight years that this team has qualified for GJNC. They’ll be playing in Open and going for that bid for the rest of the season, but what a great feeling to have that ticket punched for Vegas!! #SkylineFamily #NextLevel

Club Prep Play brings everything that our families loved about the fundamental skill training that athletes received from Club Prep and adds an element of play and competition to the program! This is the next progression from Club Prep, so our athletes will have more of an opportunity to play in a team setting. 

The first half of each session will focus on developing all athletes on ALL skills.  For the 2nd half of their time, athletes will join their team and play another Club Prep Play team.

NEW FOR 2020-21: USA Volleyball and AAU Volleyball age definitions have changed from September 1 to July 1. While we prefer and believe it to be best for athletes to play within the age that places them in their corresponding grade, there are some exceptions- especially at the younger levels. More great news!! Coach Price at FSU enjoyed working with our camp last week that she asked to come back…and she’s going to bring Coach Hulsmeyer with her! This is another great opportunity for our area athletes to get additional training heading into club tryouts and their middle school seasons. This will be a one day camp on Friday, July 24th from 10-3.

Our 2020 College Coaches Camp was a HUGE success. Featuring Lead Instruction from Ryan Theis (Marquette), Dennis Hohenshelt (Penn State) and Matt Ginipro (App State)- in addition to Maggie Couture and Jordan Armstrong (Jacksonville University) and Jordana Price (Florida State) as court coaches along with our Skyline coaches- the camp was an incredible 3-day event.

This year, NCAA Dead Period rules prohibited DI coaches to work with any prospect that will be entering high school and some conferences went even further in restricting their coaches from doing any camps this summer whatsoever. Be on the lookout for more college coach camps and clinics for ALL AGES in the future, as we are very excited to use our college background to bring high level coaches and training to the Jacksonville volleyball community.
